Meet Pastor Winkelman
Pastor Aaron Winkelman was born on July 11, 1979, the first son of Richard and Marion Winkelman. Pastor's father has worked in the concrete trade for better than 35 years and his mother manages phone systems at Nasco. He was born a child of God by the waters of Holy Baptism on August 19, 1979. Pastor has one brother, Mike.
Pastor attended Lutheran Elementary School at St. Paul's in Fort Atkinson, WI. He continued his schooling at Luther Preparatory School in Watertown, WI and graduated in 1997. Upon graduating he enrolled at Martin Luther College, New Ulm, MN where he met his future wife Tracy Leintz. After graduating in 2001, Pastor attended Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary. During his seminary training Pastor served a one year vicarage in Litchfield, MN. He graduated in 2005 and was blessed to receive his first call into public ministry in Christ's kingdom when he was assigned to serve Immanuel Lutheran Church, Waupaca, WI. Pastor served there until accepting the call to serve at Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church.
Pastor married his wife Tracy on June 14, 2003. Tracy is the first child of David and Nancy Leintz. She has two younger brothers, Mike and Time. Pastor and Tracy have three children, Gabriel, 4, Charis 2 and Micaiah who was born July 23rd, 2009.
The Winkelmans enjoy a wide variety of activities and are very excited to be a part of the Beautiful Savior family!
